As most members will know, the club's Certificate of Honour is awarded to those members who give freely of their time and energy to the club, seeking no reward and seeking no high office. Colin and Christine are `Worthy` recipients.

Both Colin and Christine have been club members for many years giving almost 25 years service to both the DA and Region Committees during which time they held the posts of Chairman, Social Secretary and Youth Leaders. Over the years both Colin and Christine have given freely and unstintingly of their time, they have also been great inovators, many will remember that the now famous Teesside DA `Pop Inn` (marquee) started life as a makeshift extention to Colin's caravan awning.
Colin of course is not the first of his family to be honoured in this way, older members of the DA will remember Irene (Colins late and much missed mother) who was similarly honoured some years ago.
It's great to see Colin and Christine carrying on the family tradition, we wish them many many more years of happy camping!
